Rep. Jim Jordan tried again with his weaponization of the government subcommittee, and it was even worse than the first time,
Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) made Jordan immediately admit that he was going to use information in the hearing that Democrats had no chance to review:

Plaskett later called out Jordan for his quid pro quo with Elon Musk:
Plaskett to Jim Jordan: “Americans can see through this. Musk helps you politically, and you go out of your way to promote, protect and praise him.” She then adds, “There are a lot of legitimate questions about where Musk got the funding to buy Twitter.” pic.twitter.com/jRsjIoJKkt

Plaskett said, “Americans can see through this. Musk helps you politically, and you go out of your way to promote, protect, and praise him.
Jordan quickly lost his temper and started yelling at Plaskett, who immediately returned it:

Witnesses, particularly Matt Taibi, imploded under Democratic questioning:
WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Journalists should avoid accepting handpicked, handpicked information if it is likely to be biased, do you agree with that?
TAIBBI: I think it depends

The hearing lasted nearly three hours with Jordan and Republican members claiming there was a conspiracy against conservatives on social media, while Democrats hit back with facts and reality, and witnesses who were supposed to strengthen the case of Jordan have faced.
Jim Jordan has proven to be utterly incompetent when it comes to monitoring and directing hearings.
Republicans fear that Jordan’s incompetence with these hearings will make them look like jerks. In a way, each new hearing is worse than the last.
One of the biggest revelations to emerge from the House majority is that Jim Jordan is incompetent. Rep. Jordan isn’t just a deeply partisan steal money for Donald Trump, and Jordan is also terrible at his job.
House Democrats roam Jordan and its Republicans in these hearings. It looks like Jordan is in over his head, and his weaponization of government hearings is helping Democrats.
