Mark Levin Explains Perfectly Why They’re Trying To Stop Trump

By now, you’ve no doubt heard the latest legal drama “the walls are closing in” in the left’s efforts to take out President Trump.

It has nothing to do with the law or “new interpretations” of campaign finance law. It’s just the last excuse.

One in a long, long line of latest apologies.

Doesn’t matter if this time is different or not, and the walls really are closure, popular conservative radio host Mark Levin explains the real reason why a Manhattan prosecutor is pulling out all the stops.

Levin explains

The truth is, Trump might just be the most studied man in the world. The Democrats in Congress couldn’t have it. Remember “Trump sells our nuclear secrets to Putin”? Yes, that one didn’t work either.

But that doesn’t stop them. No, something has to stick. Levin explains:

How many times did they go after this man? What exactly did he do to deserve this? Why do they study his life as they study an archaeological site? Why are they looking for new legal theories to prosecute the man? Why are they trying to overturn a law where they have to jump through hoops in Manhattan? The statute of limitations is two years for a misdemeanor, five years for a felony. They’ve been looking at it for six years. The Southern District of New York Attorney’s Office reviewed the matter and said there was no federal crime here, and there is none.

Double jeopardy protections are only granted to those who are friends of power, it seems.

What about campaign finance violations? simple finesas long as you’re friends with those in power… even if you hire foreign spies to cook up fantasies to attack our democracy.

And speaking of campaign finance… whatever happened Sam Bankman-Fried Tricks and all his billions to politicians?

Well. They’ll probably get there once they’re done “taking Trump”.

But Levin was just getting started.

Since when?

Levin went into a bit of detail, arguing that there’s just no crime here:

Companies, individuals, divorce parties are entering into nondisclosure agreements, 10,000 a day, probably, across the country. How much do you want to bet the Manhattan district attorney’s office has entered into nondisclosure agreements? How much do you want to bet that the Justice Department, FBI and US prosecutors have entered into nondisclosure agreements?

How much do you want to bet that those news operations that cover it, like MSNBC, NBC and the like, have nondisclosure agreements? Now we call that silent money? There is nothing illegal about non-disclosure agreements. The reason you have a nondisclosure agreement, whether it’s a severance package or whatever, is that you’re telling people to shut your mouth. In exchange for that, we will take care of you. It’s not a crime. It’s like that. It’s a contract.

As far as anyone knew a week ago, it was true. And it’s not like Trump is paying a settlement in a sexual harassment lawsuit, like Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones in the back-when.

Levin continues:

It’s number one. Number two, what is this prosecutor doing? So he has a non-disclosure agreement, does the Trump organization or this entity set up by Michael Cohen. So what? Why do they keep watching it? Well, because he was paid for by a third-party entity using company money. So what? We do not care? [Trump] didn’t pay him on his campaign, so there’s no question of misused campaign money.

If Levin is right, and I have no reason to believe he is not, we are witnessing pure anarchy.

Many commentators say an arrest would actually benefit Trump and win the election landslide.

I’m not so sure. What I am sure of is that I will never set foot in New York again. If I want to travel to a banana republic, I will at least go somewhere warm. A place that isn’t full of trash and crime.
