A longer reach MG ZS electric SUV is on his way to Australia.

This ZS EV Long Range comes with a 72kWh battery and a claimed range of 440km WLTP – compared to a 50kWh battery and 320km range for the standard ZS EV range.
It is at the price of $55,990 before road charges. MG says it should land and be available for purchase in April.
It sits above the standard range, which is currently priced at $46,195 to $49,130 drive-in (depending on condition) in Excite trim, and $49,195-$52,518 drive-in in Petrol trim. .
MG Australia said its dealers have received many inquiries for the longer-range model since the standard range arrived in updated form in September 2022.
The ZS EV Long Range has a 72.6 kWh battery (68 kWh usable) and a slightly detuned front drive motor producing 115 kW (up from 130 kW). Consequently, its 0-100 km/h is two tenths slower at 8.2 seconds.
Its efficiency is 17.8 kWh per 100 km, against 17.3 kW per 100 km for the standard range.
Once MG Australia offers the ZS EV Standard Range and Long Range models, it will look to the all-new MG 4 rear-drive hatch, which will arrive in the second half of 2023.
Its price should be lower than that of the ZS EV, due to its positioning abroad compared to the crossover.
