The San Francisco Board of Supervisors reportedly expressed “unanimous” support for a race-based reparations plan that includes $5 million in payments for each eligible black resident.
This, despite critics calling the plan financially impossible and the chairman of the African American Reparations Advisory Committee in San Francisco admitted that they did not use mathematical or financial calculations to arrive at their figures.
THE repair wish list is just that – a wish list with no basis in reality.
Along with the proposed lump sum payments of $5 million, the committee also came out in favor of a guaranteed annual income of $97,000 for 250 years and homes “for just $1 per family.”
They also suggest erasing all personal debts for those who qualify.

Although the repair plan is a clearly racist policy in itself, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors appears to agree with the proposals.
The board expressed “unanimous” support for the reparations at Tuesday’s meeting to discuss the outrageous payments.
“Board members – some of whom had, in the weeks leading up to the meeting, expressed skepticism – were unanimously supportive of the plan,” reports the Daily mail.
Not only is the question of $5 million per black person in San Francisco in the form of reparations absurd, but so is the very premise. California had no slavery, so why are its citizens – who were not responsible for slavery – being asked to pay a reparations bill? pic.twitter.com/HvlhqfaUcd

The Council seems to mistakenly believe that the only solution for pass racism is to promote coming racism.
“It’s not something we do or would do for other people,” says supervisor Rafael Mandelman.
Among the criteria needed to qualify for the proposed program, residents must be at least 18 years old and must have “identified as ‘Black/African American’ on public records for at least 10 years.”
No word on if Rachel Dolezal plans to move to San Francisco.

Americans oppose reparations
As if it weren’t obvious to anyone with a functional mind, Eric McDonnell, chairman of the African American Reparations Advisory Committee, admitted that they basically pulled the economic numbers out of nowhere.
“There was no mathematical formula,” he said The Washington Post.
“It was a journey for the committee towards what might represent a large enough investment in families to put them on that path of economic well-being, growth and vitality that chattel slavery and all the policies that resulted from it have been destroyed.”
Continuing the idiocy behind the plan, the draft reparations proposal notes that “neither San Francisco nor California has officially adopted the institution of chattel slavery.”
But fear not, they cite “white supremacy” and “systematic repression” as justification for massive reparations.
White supremacy is a relic of the past exaggerated by the media as a scourge in America today, when no black resident of San Francisco or America in general has ever been a victim of slavery .
But here’s a lottery ticket to make you feel better about something over 100 years in the past!
San Francisco is seriously considering giving $5 million to every eligible African-American adult, in the name of redressing past racism. But the new racism is not the cure for past racism. Californians voted in 1996 and again in 2020 to abolish racial preferences.https://t.co/NXxG7ObyGY

Council will decide whether to adopt the recommendations once the committee that presented the draft plan delivers a final report in June.
Americans view the prospect of reparations predominantly negatively, with nearly 70% in a Pew Research Center poll indicating that descendants of slaves should not receive money.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in 2019, “I don’t think reparations for something that happened 150 years ago, which none of us are living in now, is a good idea.
NFL legend @BurgessOwens tells Democrats they should pay reparations to black Americans.
I believe in restitution. Let’s quote the party that was part of slavery, KKK, Jim Crow, that killed over 40% of our black babies, 20 million of them.pic.twitter.com/aVtmjBboDF

Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), during a House hearing to address reparations that same year, Democrats erased for pushing the idea.
“I was a Democrat until I made my story and found out the misery this party brought to my race,” revealed Owens, who is black.
“Let’s pay restitution,” he continued. “How about the Democratic Party paying for all the misery brought to my race.”
