Motorhomes, motorhomes, and motorhomes are popular outside of the United States, giving travelers around the world a plethora of vehicle options. A new video shows the Kabe Imperial i860 LQB, an expensive motorhome whose design and features justify its price.
The motorhome, built by Swedish manufacturer Kabe, offers some unique design choices. Forward is a large dinette with an L-shaped bench seat on one side and a standard bench seat on the other. The forward cabin seats also swivel, increasing seating capacity around the table. The front also has a drop-down bed for additional sleeping space.
The kitchen has a three-burner hob, fridge and freezer combination, drawers, cabinets and a small grill above the freezer. The small room Kabe Imperial i860 LQB separates the bathroom in two, with the small bathroom closet on one side and the shower on the other. The bathroom door can be opened to close off the space at the front of the motorhome.
The bedroom is at the back and has a darker aesthetic than the rest of the RV. It has a split bed design, with steps leading up to the platform. It can also convert to a full size sleeping area. There is plenty of storage above the bed and narrow cupboards on either side of the entry, which can be separated from the rest of the unit with a fabric sliding door. The beds also have storage spaces underneath, which house some of the vehicle’s systems.
The i860 LGB measures 347 inches long, 91 inches wide, and 81 inches tall when rolling on a mercedes chassis with a 170 horsepower engine that powers the front wheels. The campervan isn’t cheap, with a price tag of €237,300 ($254,574 at today’s exchange rate), but that money seems to buy a super-strong campervan that should stand up to the abuse of cars. daily use.
Motorhomes and campers can be just as expensive across the pond, and it’s always great to see various design ideas. However, the i860 LGB is not much different from what is available here. Manufacturers around the world add their own stylistic touches and flair to their products, and Kabe is no exception.
