Trump said, “Our country has become the investigative capital of the world. In fact, that’s all we do, and it’s only good for our many enemies. Our enemies who laugh at us all over the world. They couldn’t be happier as they brilliantly plot our demise and destruction. We need to get back to making America great again.

Trump’s salad of words appears to be an admission that he is running for president, as it is his only hope of shutting down the investigations.
The ousted former president also seems to suggest that national criminal investigations into his activities are tied to safety and security, as America is somehow weaker and less secure if Trump is held accountable for his crimes.
It was Donald Trump, not America’s foreign enemies, who orchestrated a violent attack on the Capitol in an effort to overthrow the government and stay in power.
On some level, Trump is aware that he is likely to fall if he cannot get his supporters to come to his defense and threaten more violence against America.
This is why Trump is constantly trying to turn his legal troubles into an attack on his supporters. So far that hasn’t worked out, which is why Trump melts down and does his version of throwing everything against the wall and hoping something sticks.
It’s been years, but Trump appears to be on the verge of a criminal indictment, and so far the MAGA masses aren’t coming to his aid.
