Uganda’s new anti-gay bill sparks fears of attacks

Supporters of the bill say they are trying to protect children, but Ms Byarugaba said: “Whether you are straight or gay, the government and parliament should introduce laws, or at least implement existing laws that protect all children – boys, girls from defilement. So the question of recruitment has not been proven, it is baseless, it is biased.”
